A turbinaria sp. coral that it's being bothered by an Eibli Angel

Hola muy buenas mi pregunta va referente hacia un turbinaria que esta siendo molestada , por un centropyge Eibli , antes de introducir el pez me aseguraron , que era adecuado para el acuario de arrecife, ademas que es herbivoro y come algas .?Quisiera saber si el picoteo del eibli en la turbinaria es eventual o podria tener problemas ? Gracias

Greetings I have a question regarding a turbinaria sp. coral that it's being bothered by an Eibli Angel, before I introduced the fish I was told that it was a reef safe fish , since it is a hervibore and feeds on algae. Will the picking stop? Is it temporary or is it something that will be troublesome in the long run? Thanks.

Hola Diego.. el Angel Eibli, no es compatible con Arrecife asi que te recomendaria que lo regresaras al acuario ya que no dejara de morder tus corales.

Hi Diego... Eibli Angels are not reef safe, so I would reccomend to remove it and take it back to your LFS since it won't stop nibbling at your corals.

Pues yo tengo uno, asi es como comenta Lestat este pez no es totalmente para arrecife, pero si se puede tener, aunque puede ser un volado como el angel flama.

El mio cuando llego molestaba mucho a los zoos, pero era por que no estaba acostumbrado a la comida que les daba, ahora que ya come de todo, es super raro que de repente picotee algun zoo.

muevo el tema al foro de Borneman ya que el siendo experto nos podra ayudar mejor con el tema

Well I have one, just like Lestat replied, this fish is not entirely reef safe, but you could have one, keep in mind he can be kinda reckless just like the Flame Angel.

When I first got mine it used to bother my zoos, but it was because it was not used to the food I was feeding it. Now that he eats everything I feed, it's super rare that all of a sudden it will pick at any of my zoos.

Respecto al eibli me stoy pensando seriamente , retirarlo del tanque pues desde que llego no deja de molestar y picotear a los corales sobre todo una de las turbinarias, a la cual no la deja sacar los polipos .? hace una semana que entro el pez angel , ustedes creen que debo esperar mas o retiro el pez , destacar que el pez come bien lo que le doy ?

Regarding the eibli I'm seriously considering removing it from the aquarium since ever since it was introduced it has not stopped bothering and picking the corals especially turbinarias, which are not able to extend their polyps. It's been a week since the fish was added. Should I wait some more or should I give it more time? BTW, the fish is eating everything I feed it.

It is common to have such fish pick and nip at corals. I doubt it will ultimately kill the coral, and most corals get fish bites from which they recover easily. I also don't know of a solution to have it stop, and it may stop all on its own over time.

Es comun tener un pez asi que molestara a algunos corales. Yo personalmente dudo que ultimammente matara al coral, la mayoria de os corales reciben mordeduras de peces de los cuales se recuperan facilmente. Yo tampoco conozco una solucion para que deje de molestarlos y puede muy bien detenerse por si mismo con el tiempo.
